WHAT IS A TOBACCO CARD?
In the early 1900s the Murad Tobacco company originally used cards to stiffen their cigarette packages. To build brand loyalty among its customers, they decorated these cards to feature the new and exciting collegiate sports teams. Murad created some of the earliest known collectible football, basketball, and hockey cards.
These cards are always highly detailed and beautifully colored and often feature the students, pennants, and school seals. At Americana Memories, we have attractively framed these pieces for your enjoyment; to rekindle old memories, celebrate graduations and acceptances, and of course, brag about your school.
